About

Public transit makes travel possible for millions of people in Bangkok. I would never have gotten the opportunity to study in town, go out with friends, or travel independently if it wasn't for the railway network in Bangkok. It has also reduced traffic and has attracted foreign investment in the area.

That doesn't mean it doesn't have its issues, Bangkok's railway network remains very fragmented due to the arrangement between the government and each rail operator. As it stands, there is no centralized ticketing system. Furthermore, information on each of the rail lines is not on a centralized website, which means that you must look through or switch between websites to get the information you need.

This website tries to tackle the issue of inaccessible information. The website calculates the optimal route between railway stations and gives the route, price, and estimated duration of the trip. It also mentions the interchanges/transfers between platforms and stations too! Just bear in mind that this is a personal project and isn't affiliated with any rail network. So, I apologize for any inaccuracies or information that isn't completely up to date.

This website was made to provide information. As such, accuracy and accessibility are very important to me. If you find any issues with the website, please report it to me. If you would like to suggest some interesting features or just give advice, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm a beginner in programming so all advice is welcome.
